Zenora Ann Bullard

Zenora Ann Bullard, affectionately known as Zenora, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 76 in Mobile, Alabama. She was born on October 9, 1946, in Mobile, Alabama, to her late mother, Betty Lou Holt (Wilkerson), and her late stepfather, Arthur Thomas Holt. She graduated from Theodore High School in 1965 in Theodore, Alabama. She was a Tillmans Corner, Alabama resident throughout her adult life. Professionally, Zenora dedicated her time and talents to being employed by the Grand Casino Biloxi and later by the Beau Rivage. During her off time, she developed lasting friendships with co-workers and enjoyed the thrill of victory and agony of defeat while playing the games. Unfortunately, her sight was weakened during her career, which impacted her employment. Her dedication and commitment were evident throughout her time in the industry. She had a warm and loving personality, extending her care to all those she held dear. She found joy in spending time with her family and doted on her granddaughter. She had a fondness for visiting casinos, following soap operas, shopping QVC, and finding treasures during her trips to Walmart with her sister, Pamela. These simple pleasures brought her happiness and allowed her to unwind and enjoy life's little moments. Zenora will be deeply missed by her surviving family members, including her son, Michael Bullard (Robin), sister, Pamela (Richardson) Woody, and her brother, William (Bill) Holt (Kimberly). She also leaves behind her cherished granddaughter, Ashlin Nicole Bullard that held a special place in her heart along with a special bond with her family. A Celebration of Life will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Friday, July 21, 2023, at 8691 Old Pascagoula Road, Theodore, Alabama. Friends are welcome to visit from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The chapel service begins promptly at 11:00. The interment will immediately follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens, Three Notch Road, Mobile, Alabama. Zenora's loving nature, joyful spirit, and warm presence will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May her soul find eternal peace, and may her memory forever be a blessing to her family and friends.
