Shantevia Marquese Davidson

MS SHANTEVIA MARQUESE DAVIDSON was born on November 21, 1992 in Mobile, Alabama to Mr. Johnny Lee Davidson and Mrs. Aleisa Moore Davidson. Ms. Davidson departed this earthly life on January 10, 2020 at the age of twenty-seven. Ms. Davidson confessed Christ at an early age and became a member of Life Church. She received her high school education from Murphy High School in Mobile, Alabama. She later completed her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of South Alabama, also located in Mobile. Ms. Davidson devoted her life to the service of others. She was a faithful and dedicated member of many clubs and organizations to include: The National Society of Collegiate Scholars, HOSA, American Sign Language Association, Women of Excellence, Love Speaks, Alpha Epsilon Delta and AASA Praise Dance Team. Ms. Davidson completed countless hours of community service through giving of her time at the annual Greek Fest, Little Sisters of the Poor, Ronald McDonald House, Yellow Day, Mobile Public Library, the Homeless Hotdog Ministry, and Tutoring of Elementary School Students. Shantevia is preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. Felix Quinnie and Mrs. Betty Mae Quinnie; grandmother, Ms. Callie Mae Moore; and loving aunt, Ms. Betty Jean Coleman. Her memories will be forever cherished by her loving parents, Mr. & Mrs. Johnny Davidson; brother, Mr. Darneal (Nicole) Davidson; nephew, Mr. Vontavious Davidson; six uncles, Minister Larry Moore, Minister Edward (Yolanda) Moore, Gregory Moore, Vannie Moore, and Danny (Sarah) Moore; honorary uncle, Mr. Edrick (Deatosha) Haynes; three aunts, Minister Delores Rogers, Deborah (Frank) Parker, and Patricia Davidson; and a host of cousins, other family members, and friends. A visitation for Shantevia will be held Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Serenity Funeral Home, 8691 Old Pascagoula Road, Theodore, Alabama 36582. A funeral service will occur Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 11:00 AM, 8691 Old Pascagoula Road, Theodore, Alabama 36582. An interment will occur at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens, 8851 Old Pascagoula Rd., Theodore, AL 36582.
