Mary "Eloise" Williams

Mary "Eloise" Williams, a long time resident of Saraland, Alabama went to be with her Lord and Savior at the age of 85 on Sunday, February 4, 2018. Born on March 29, 1932, Eloise was born to Mary Margaret and Delma Otis Kidd in Chunchula, Alabama. She was united in marriage to Jerry Williams in Amarillo, Texas on August 12, 1952. He proceeded her in death on October 15, 2003. They were married for 51 wonderful years. She graduated from Citronelle High School and worked as a legal secretary for many years before becoming an administrative assistant for the director of USA Medical Center. She attended Chunchula Baptist Church for most of her life where she made many life-long friends. She is survived by her children: Pamela Williams (Kevin) Garguilo of Sugar Hill, Georgia; Jerry "Mike" Williams of Theodore, Alabama, and Donald Keith (Kristi) Williams of Eight Mile, Alabama; 4 grandchildren: Jeremy & Ryan Knolla of Wichita, Kansas; Jaimie (Brandon) Hovell of Theodore, Alabama; and Blair Williams of Montgomery, Alabama; 2 great-grandchildren: Tiannah Knolla (daughter of Jeremy), and Kinsley Eloise Hovell (daughter of Jaimie & Brandon); siblings: sister, Helen (Bobby) Maherg and brother, Eugene Kidd; her angels, her caregivers Abra (Kermit) Davis and Kayce Pierre; along with many other relatives. In addition to her husband, she was proceeded in death by her parents, her brother Delma Otis Kidd, Jr., and her sister Corinne Jones. Eloise will be remembered for being the sweetest, most loving little lady any of her friends or family have ever known. Anyone who has known her will attest to this. She loved her family more than anything in the entire world and would've gone to the ends of the earth for them. She also loved the Lord with all of her heart and soul. She will be dearly missed, but we are blessed to know she is in heaven with the Lord in her perfect body with her perfect mind. A visitation for Eloise will be held Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Serenity Funeral Home, 8691 Old Pascagoula Rd., Theodore, AL 36582. A funeral service will occur Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 12:00 PM, 8691 Old Pascagoula Rd., Theodore, AL 36582. An interment will occur at Serenity Memorial Gardens, 8851 Old Pascagoula Rd., Theodore, AL 36582.
