James Nolen Sellers

Mr. James Nolen Sellers, Sr., age 87, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, September 26, 2021. He was born in Irvington, AL on November 8, 1933. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Pielert; father, Midd Sellers; and brothers, Clyde Sellers and Andy Stacey. Mr. Sellers is a veteran of the Army and a retired automotive mechanic. He was a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who always put his family first. Mr. Sellers found joy in caring for his family, he was very outgoing and an extremely loving person. He was liked by everyone he met and loved dearly by his family. He is survived by his wife, Della Sellers; children, Mildred Maxwell (Timmy), Sonia White (Terry), Connie Vickers, James Sellers, Jr., Willa Sullivan (Dave), William Chandler (Debbie), and Rose Marie Nelson (Don); grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, Alison Thomas (John), Alyssa McClelland, Trey Lankow, Ashton Busby (Kassandra), Kacen Busby, Haylee Busby, Bane Pickett, Austin Busby (Shylah), Mercy Busby, Venelope Busby, Adrian Busby (Shannon), Aiden Busby, Aziah Busby, Axander Busby, Freddy Hairston, Christopher Sellers, Amelia Sellers, Christopher Sellers, Jr., Christon Faulk, Annastasia Jackson, Angalina Jackson, Anthony Jackson, Wilson Faulk (Nikki), Nevaeh Faulk, Jackson Josey, Jonah Josey, Juliana Josey, Tyler Faulk (Kasey), Zaythen Faulk, Jackson Faulk, Jacob Richardson, Alexis Richardson, Victoria Rowell (Mike), Brady Rowell, Morgan Rowell, Tayl’r Rowell, Emma Rowell, Luke Rowell, Addie Wilson, Aiden Rowell, Ella Rose Rowell, James Sellers III, Kalel Sellers, Alexis Brocato, Hayden Brocato, Timothy Chandler (Denise), Timothy Chandler, Jr., Bryson Chandler, Shay Chandler, Jordan Chandler, Kenneth Bridgers, Rachael Chandler, Adam Chandler, and Alisha Reinhart; brothers, Roy Sellers, Sr.; sister, Patti Sellers Slaughter; nieces and nephews, Roy Sellers, Jr., Cindy Thompson (Ricky), and Mike Sellers; other relatives, and friends. The service will be held at Serenity Funeral Home at 8691 Old Pascagoula Rd Theodore, AL 36582. Visitation for family will start at 10:00 a.m., for friends at 11:00 a.m., followed by service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be held in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
