January 20, 1945 - August 14, 2021
James “Jimmy” Millon Wall, Sr., age 76, a resident of Theodore, Alabama, was peacefully led to his eternal home on August 14, 2021. Jimmy was born January 20, 1946 in Georgina, Alabama. He was a faithful servant to our Lord and Savior, a devoted husband of 58 years to his high school sweetheart, a loving father, and a very proud PawPaw who frequently bragged on everyone any chance he could. He was a family man who enjoyed fishing, hunting, vacations and most of all, he enjoyed family time and dinners with his loved ones always around him. He was adventurous and often he and Mickie would call the kids as they made it a few hours out of town and let them know they were on a short adventure. They loved to hop in the truck with their little Mollie in tow and enjoy the sights of a short road trip away. They also enjoyed visits to Colorado and Utah with friends and rode the trails for hours on their 4-wheelers as well as many camping trips to the beaches and parks. Jimmy worked at Fyr Fyter Sales and Service, starting his early career in 1966. For 55 years, he remained a dedicated and loyal part of the Fyr Fyter family serving as the Vice President until his passing. Jimmy also served as the President of Lost Wagon Lodge Hunting Camp where he enjoyed hunting with his family and fellow members. He claimed his biggest buck in 2021 and his excitement was shared by all members and friends in the camp and afar. If another deer didn’t come out of the woods that year, it was ok; the guy that everyone called “Pop” made the season complete with his big trophy buck. You’ll never find a more genuine, kind-hearted, hard-working, and loving soul as Jimmy Wall. If you would see him in a crowd, you’d know immediately that he was kind to each and every person he came into contact with. If there was work to be done, don’t think that Jimmy was sitting on the sidelines. No matter the tasks, big or small, he was sure to be right beside you, offering his knowledge and helping hand followed by a handshake or a hug. There will always be a hole in our hearts and an empty spot at the dinner table. He would always say “You Gotta Keep On Keeping On.” We as a family will honor him each and every day, always living by his motto. Jimmy is preceded in death by his precious son, John Allan Wall; his father, James Earlie Wall; and mother, Lorine Hanks Wall. He will dearly be missed by his loving wife, Barbara (Mickie) Wall; son, James “Jimmy” Wall, Jr. (Sharmyn); his grandchildren, Brittney (Trevor) Vallet, Brady Dunigan, Tyler (Nicole) Robbins, and Blake (Emily Jeffers) Wall; great-grandchildren, Jaden Dunigan, Hayden Dunigan, Cameron Dunigan, Atlas Vallet, and Brettleigh Robbins; brother, Robert (Linda) Wall; sisters-in-law, Shirley Haggard, Laverne Nobles, and Joyce Bolby; and many other extended family and friends. A private family service will take place at the chapel at Serenity Funeral Home, 8951 Old Pascagoula Rd, Theodore, AL on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 10:00 AM. The graveside service at Serenity Memorial Gardens is open to all friends and family with the procession leaving Serenity Funeral Home at 11:00 AM.
