Patricia Ann Rose

Patricia Ann Rose (Anderson) 78, a resident of Loxley, Alabama went peacefully to her heavenly home on Tuesday July 2, 2024. She survived by her daughter, Tracey Coburn Travis (Leo); son, Jeffrey Rose (Amy); son, Chris Rose (Rosa); daughter, Sharon Lawless (Steve); 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; sister, Kay Givens (Danny); brothers, Ray Anderson (Sherry), Terry Anderson (Belinda), Kevin Dardard (Kim); and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Rose, Jr., (Buckie) parents V.J. and Mildred Anderson; brothers, Ricky and Darren Anderson, sister Karen McGraw; and a special friend Joanne Orso. She was the eldest of seven children and was consider the best big sister by her younger siblings due to the love and care she showed and gave them as they grew up. She was a 1964 graduate of Vigor High School. She had a long and successful career in the legal profession. She retired in 2007 from the State of Alabama where she was the Deputy Clerk, Criminal Division of the Circuit Court. The family spent summers on Mobile Bay catching crabs, mullet and gigging flounders, which meant many good meals were enjoyed. Gatherings of family and friends were held there, including Fourth of July and New Year's Eve. Lots of forever memories were made. Such as firework wars, bonfires, swimming and cookouts. Even a gator or two were caught. In more recent years, she spent time with her family. She especially enjoyed being around her grands and great grandchildren. She loved to sit and just watch them enjoy life; while getting her in on the action of their playtime and this always brought a big smile to her face and theirs. They loved their Nanny and she loved them. She was a wonderful, loved Mama, Nanny, sister and friend and will be greatly missed. While she is gone from sight, she will remain in our hearts forever. The family is extremely grateful for the care given to her by Community Hospice especially Beverly, Nene and Molly. Psalm 19:14 KJV An inurnment service will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at 10:00 am in Serentiy Memorial Gardens in Theodore, AL. All family and friends are to meet at Serentiy Funeral Home to go in procession to the cemetery.
