Joseph Jack Teague

Joseph Jack Teague, age 98, a native of Florence Alabama and current resident of Fowl River Alabama passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023. Joseph was the founder of Teague Brothers Carpet Cleaning and Sales Inc and Teague Brothers Transfer and Storage Inc. Joseph spent many years donating time to the Sertoma Charity organization in Mobile Alabama and was able to promote local golf tournaments and fishing tournaments to raise money for the service to mankind. After his retirement from business Joseph spent his last years on Mon Louis Island close to family and friends hanging out on the dock on Mobile Bay. He would spend hours fishing and participated in the Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo every year until he passed and loved catching big Spanish Mackerel to get his name on the leaderboard. Joseph Teague was a great man that had a good spirit and was always helpful in his community, his presence will be truly missed by friends and family. Joseph is survived by his daughter, Joanne (Ron Bruce); his granddaughter, Kristen Bush; his granddaughter, Michelle (Jeff Branum); his great granddaughter, Josie Branum; his grandson, Joseph Dear; his daughter, Barbie Stokes; his granddaughter, Paula Stokes; and his granddaughter, Brandy Stokes; his great grandson, Jonah Dear, his great granddaughter, Karley Dear, his great granddaughter, Allyson Rhoads, his great great grandson, John Luke, his great great grandson, Stetson, his great grandson, Jaden Thepphanorinh, his great great grandaughter, Gracey, his great great grandaughter Kenzly, his great great grandaughter, Kently, his grandaughter, Kathy (Tony Lane) and his great granddaughter, Joanna Lane, His granddaughters, Rachel, Leah and Tabitha Lane, His granddaughter, Jessica Lawley, His great grandson, Jeremy Lawley and children, his great great grandson, Parker, his great great grandaughter, Leslie Ann. Joseph was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Teague; his daughter, Dorothy (Greg Lawley) His Brother, Charles William Teague; his sister, Dorothy Kay Teague; and grandson, Jason Lawley. A memorial service will be held at Serenity Funeral Home 8691 Old Pascagoula Rd. Theodore, AL 36582 on Thursday January 11, 2024, at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00-11:00am and food will be served at 12:00pm following the service.
