John Jeffrey Fore

John Jeffrey Fore, a native of Mobile, Alabama, was born August 22, 1956 to the late Wilbur Fore, Malinda Mitchell-Fore and step-mother Sadie Fore. He departed this life peacefully on March 23, 2025, surrounded by his family and loved ones. John Jeffrey Fore attended Emerson Elementary School, Dunbar Middle School, graduated Murphy High School, Mobile, Alabama, and attended Bishop State Community College where he received an Associate Degree in Business Administration. Shortly after graduation, John Jeffrey Fore enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, from 1977 to 2005. His first duty station was the Republic of Panama for 4 years. Mr. Fore’s second Marine Corps base was Camp Pendleton in California for 2 years. His third station was in Washington D.C. at Marine Bowling Air Force Base for 3 years. Mr. Fore’s fourth station was in 29 Palms, California for 10 years. His fifth station was for 2 years in Okinawa, Japan. Mr. Fore’s sixth station was for 2 years as a chaser (bounty hunter) in Bangkok, Thailand. His final station was in Hawaii for 5 years. Mr. Fore returned home August 2005, after traveling all over the world. John Jeffrey Fore was preceded in death by his daughter, Kessia LeShun Broughton (Peaches), brothers, Alton A. Fore and Clyde, and nephew, Demetrius Fore. He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving and devoted wife Amelia Fore, two loving and devoted daughters, Sabrina (Eric) Nelson of Mobile, Alabama and Jovani (Zidane) Brooks of Panama City, Florida; four loving and devoted sons, John R. Fore of Dallas, Texas; Ivan V. Fore of Kansas City, Missouri; Dominque Fore of Dallas, Texas; and John J. (Dawn) Ervin, Sr. of Mobile, Alabama; granddaughters: Ashanti Fore, Lucia Fore, Daja Broughton, DaeJuan R. Ervin, and Kierra Ervin; grandsons: Damarion Fore, Devrim Nelson, Zennon Fore, John J. Ervin, Jr.; and great-grandson, Damien Broughton. Six loving and devoted sisters: Delores (James) Sumpter, Sr., Theresa (Willie) Raymond (deceased); Linda (Leon) Kim, Sharon (Raymond) Lee (deceased); Sandra (Gerald) Biggs, Sr., Wanda (Chuck) Milliner, all of Mobile, Alabama. Five loving and devoted brothers: Ray (Regina) Fore; Milton Fore; Willard (Sharon) Fore; and Ronnie Fore, all of Mobile, Alabama; and Samuel (Aletha) Curry, Sr. of Fairhope, Alabama. Extended family: Father and mother in law, Ivan A. and Aminta (deceased) Anderson; sister in law, Jovani Torres; brother in law Avier Torres of New Mexico; sister in law, Jalisa Ng Binghan; brother in law, Rodino, Amondo, Rolado, Ivan, and Joseph Anderson all of Republic of Panama; nieces in law: Kesha, Amelia, Yosalen, and Aminta Anderson; and nephew in law, Rolado Anderson, all of the Republic of Panama; 25 nieces, 16 nephews, 20 great nieces, 13 great nephews, a host of relatives and friends, Terry Smith, Sophia Smith, and Al Hudson; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 11:00 AM from Serenity Funeral Home Event Center. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. Interment will immediately follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens with full military honors. The family would like to extend a special thank you to USA Medical Center; Select Specialty Hospital in Pensacola, Florida; Palm Gardens Health and Rehabilitation in Mobile, Alabama; and Sacred Heart Hospital Center in Pensacola, Florida.
