It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Christian Rey Rosales,18, our beloved son, brother, and friend,who passed away on October 3, 2025. Christian was born on May 4, 2007, at USA Women & Children’s Hospital. He grew up in Mobile, Alabama, and later resided in Irvington, Alabama, where he passed away at the family home. Christian was the light of his family—known for his goofy personality and his ability to make anyone smile. He was an active student, working toward his GED with plans to pursue a trade career afterward. At the time of his passing, Christian was employed at Gulf Coast Moving, where he took great pride in his work and in building a better future for himself. He loved cars, working on his own vehicle, enjoying his mother Brandie’s cooking, trying new foods, and spending time with his girlfriend. His laughter, kindness, and warmth will forever be remembered by all who knew him. Christian is survived by his mother, Brandie Wallace; father, Fred Martinez; brother, Jason Martinez; and sister, Chloe Martinez. He is also survived by his biological family: Carolyn Harris, Jeremy Rosales, Brittany Godwin, and Dalen Mathis; as well as many loving grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jeremy Rosales Jr.; great-grandmother, Margaret Carpenter; aunt, Lisa Traylor; and uncle, Clinton Stokes. The funeral is to be held on Monday, October 13, 2025, at the First Baptist Church of Irvington, (9074 Irvington Bayou La Batre Hwy). There will be a viewing from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by the service beginning at 12:00 PM. The service will be provided by Serenity Funeral Home. Christian will forever live in the hearts of those who loved him. His laughter, love, and light will continue to shine through the memories he left behind. Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in God’s promise of peace and eternal rest. “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.
