Billy Dalton Seale

Billy Dalton Seale was born in Mobile, Alabama on July 9, 1935 and he passed away on January 28, 2023 in Mobile. He was a Christian, family man, patriot, businessman, army veteran, and Master Mason. He was known by friends and family to be a dedicated University of Alabama football fan. Mr. Seale was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Norvel Seale and Ethel Mason Seale; brother, Don Seale; sister, Debbie (Seale) Casey; daughter, Gloria (Steffey) Rose; son, Steve Hudson; granddaughter, Mendi Hudson; great-grandson, Preston Hudson; and brothers-in-law, Edward Thornburg and Riley White. He is survived by his wife, Eunice Christine Seale; brother, Bobby Seale; sisters, Mary (Seale) Thornburg and Jeanne Seale White; children, Randy Hudson, Tommy Hudson, Clara Cannon (Kerry), Susan Jordan, and Billy Vincent Seale; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives, and friends. Mr. Seale loved the Lord first. Family, fishing and football all tied as a close second. Fishing was a passion and he enjoyed bringing back his catch for a big family fish fry. The only thing to make it a better occasion would be a win for the Crimson Tide! He was a “jack of all trades” and there was nothing he could not repair! He was a proud veteran and served our country in the Army as a paratrooper team chief at the end of the Korean War and the beginning of the war in Vietnam. His tours included service in Korea, Thailand, Japan, as well as stateside. Mr. Seale made over 100 jumps while in the Airborne Infantry and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant E-5. He was very grateful for the care extended to him during his stay at Springhill Memorial Hospital. His funeral service will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023 at Serenity Funeral Home located at 8691 Old Pascagoula Road, Theodore, Alabama. Visitation for friends will be from 10:00 to 11:00 and the service will immediately follow in the chapel. Burial will be at Serenity Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers family request donations to be made to Azalea Baptist Church in memory of Billy Seale, Azalea Baptist Church, 4050 Halls Mill Rd, Mobile, AL 36693.
