Betty Ann Stringer

On October 2, 2025, the Lord welcomed home Betty Ann Stringer, age 58, of Wilmer & former resident of Chickasaw. While our hearts ache with her absence, we rejoice knowing she is at peace and surrounded by the love of those who went before her. Betty Ann was born on January 3, 1967, in Sussex, NJ, to Robert and Kathy Howey. She lived her life with a spirit that was larger than life itself — fierce in love, rich in laughter, and unwavering in her faith. She was known for her Sunday dinners that brought the family together, her love of board games and cards, her quick smile that could light up a room, and the way she never let anyone leave hungry or without a hug. To her children and grandchildren, she was more than family — she was a safe haven, a storyteller, a teacher of life’s lessons, and a steady hand to hold. Her days were filled with karaoke, ranting & raving at bingo, loving her family and friends, and enjoying dirt track racing. But her true joy was her family. She found her greatest purpose in nurturing, guiding, and loving them, and in turn, they carry her legacy in their hearts. She is survived by her life partner: Steve Mccoskey her children: Michael Stringer , David Stringer, and Amannda Norman (Daniel) Christopher Stringer (Ashley); her grandchildren: Cheyenne Stringer, Dakota Stringer, Callie Stringer, Gabriel Stringer, Calvin Stringer, Michael Weaver III, Adreanna Vaughn (Austin Vaughn), Hunter Weaver, Elias Anthony, Stephen Anthony, Christopher Stringer III, and Wyatt Stringer; her great-grandchildren; her siblings Kathy Ann Downey (Pam), John Howey (Brandy), Sis & Punk Owens; and many extended family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Christopher Stringer Sr ; her parents, Robert and Kathy Howey; and many more loved ones who welcomed her into eternal rest. A service to celebrate her life will be held on (date/time) at (location). Friends and family are invited to gather not only in mourning, but also in gratitude for the beautiful life she lived and the countless ways she blessed us. Though she may no longer walk beside us, her laughter, her wisdom, and her love will remain — forever woven into the fabric of our family.
