Ann Marie Crane McDuffie

Ann Marie Crane McDuffie, 87, a resident of Robertsdale, Alabama, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on October 25, 2024. Born on October 6, 1937, in Mobile, Alabama, she was the daughter of Elijah and Annie Wimpee Crane and the sister of John William Crane who preceded her in death. She is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Burvin McDuffie, Sr., to whom she was married for 63 years. She is also survived by her three loving children, son Kenneth Burvin McDuffie, Jr. and his wife Shumaine, daughter Melanie McDuffie Alford and her husband Mark, And son Steven Elijah McDuffie and his wife Cindy. Her seven loving grandchildren are Kris McDuffie and wife Brandy, Amanda Philibert and husband Ethan, Cierra Sims and husband Travis, Austin McDuffie and wife Maddie, Ansley Alford, MaKensey Alford, and Eli (Elijah) McDuffie. Her five loving great grandchildren are Annaleigh Finney, Greyson Philibert, Hayes McDuffie, John Clark Sims, and soon to arrive Jaxon Philibert. Ann Marie McDuffie is also survived by many other family and friends. Ann Marie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, caring for the needs of her family and proud of them all. Ann Marie was a graduate of Murphy High School in Mobile, AL. She liked to sew, cook, collect recipes, garden, grow African Violets, and succulents. She was an avid stamp collector who also loved to read and canvas cross-stitch. She loved beautiful flowers and enjoyed collecting angels, matchbooks and seashells at the beach with her grandchildren. She was an active member at Meadowlake Baptist Church, 1st Baptist Church of Dawes and Hamilton Baptist Church throughout her life and went to Sunday School and church until she was no longer able to attend. Pallbearers are Kris McDuffie, Austin McDuffie, Eli McDuffie, Travis Sims, Ethan Philibert and Gary Downey. Honorary Pallbearers are Ken McDuffie, Jr., Steve McDuffie, Mark Alford, and Paul Beeson. Visitation on Monday, October 28, 2024, from 5-7 pm at Serenity Funeral Home. Visitation also on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at 11:00 am. Funeral services on Tuesday October 29, 2024, at 12 noon at Serenity Funeral Home 8691 Old Pascagoula Rd, Theodore, AL 36582. Graveside service to follow.
