    Thomas R. Jordan

    January 15, 1955 - February 4, 2022

Thomas "Flash" Ray Jordan, age 67, of Semmes, AL, passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022. Flash was born January 15, 1955 in Chatom, Alabama. Flash is survived by his loving wife, Rita Jordan; sons, Michael Jordan (Jeannie) of Moss Point, Mississippi, and Chris Jordan of Semmes, Alabama; granddaughters, Morgan Chinners (Justin), Savannah Jordan, Taylor Jordan, Tabitha Jordan, and Hannah Jordan; grandsons, Owen Jordan and Luke Jordan; great-grandsons, Landon Chinners and Roman Jordan; sisters, Bonita Dees and Gail Napier of Chatom, Alabama; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Flash was preceded in death by his parents, Elijah and Voncile Jordan; and brother, Joe Jordan. He had an infectious laugh and a deep love for those around him. Flash's love for music began as a young teenager and grew into his passion. He was a talented guitar player that could leave any crowd speechless, but always put the spotlight on other musicians around him. He was able to share his passion with so many through his work at a music store, teaching music and playing with numerous bands. Though he loved music, he loved his family even more. He never failed to tell everyone that he came in contact with about his family. His wife, Rita Jordan, meant the world to him, and she felt the same way about him. He always made sure that she knew how much he loved her and how blessed he was to have her. Flash will be greatly missed by so many. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 1-3 PM at Life Church, 8701 Zeigler Blvd in Mobile, AL.
