    Shirley Ann Smith

    January 24, 1936 - February 6, 2022

Shirley Ann Hardin Smith went to join our Heavenly Father on Sunday evening, February 6, 2022. Ann loved her family and friends and lived a very full life. She loved country music and spent many weekends at the Mobile Country Music Association. Alabama football and Braves baseball where very close to her heart. She had a season pass to Alabama games and loved tailgating in her younger years. Her greatest pride was her family, and she did all she could to help them. She was a generous and loving person, full of life. She had her own way of doing things and was not afraid to express that. Ann was survived by her sons, Donald Ray Woodward (Betty) and Kenneth Woodward (Tammy); grandchildren, Alicia Kay Potts (Slim), Tasha Carter (John), Kenneth Wayne Woodward, Jr. (Crystal), Tonya Williams (Danny), Jason Gilley (Heather); great-grandchildren, Carlee Woodward, Troy McDonnell, Hunter Potts, Breanne Konazeski, Bryce Konazeski, Andrew Carter, Hallie Carter, Fritz Larche, Alissa Williams, Ryleigh Williams, Luke Woodward, Jake Woodward, Kaylee Woodward, Jase Gilley, Jacob Gilley, and Jordan Gilley; sister, Pat Whitaker; other relatives, and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 9-10 AM at Serenity Funeral Home, followed by service at 10 AM. Interment will be held in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
