James Ralph “Jim” Ellis, Jr., age 72, passed away March 29, 2022 in Mobile, aL. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Texas. Mr. Ellis retired to Mobile after spending many years traveling for the wholesale nursery business. He enjoyed traveling, golfing, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Ellis; daughters, Chani Rider (Greg) and Jennifer Anderson (Curtis); grandchildren, Kolby Johnson, Holly Hernandez, Connor Anderson, Bella Rider, and Gregory Rider; great-grandchildren, Ash Hernandez and Kitana Hernandez; sisters, Kay Hendrix (J.C.) and Gayla Johnson (Travis); other relatives, and friends.
