Edna "Ed" Bowles Creal, a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022. She was born on February 12, 1943 in Mobile, AL. She retired after 30 years of working as an x-ray technician and was instrumental in developing techniques to improve her profession. She came out of retirement for a year to work on Johnston Atoll, a small island in the Pacific ocean, for an adventure, she said. She led a full life and was a loving mother. Edna was preceded in death by her husband, James Creal; parents, Frank and Ruby Bowles; and daughter, Stacey Moore. She is survived by her sons, Christopher Creal and Shane Creal; grandchildren, Cooper Creal, Brittany Creal, Brooke Beaty, and Rebecca Moore; great-grandson, River Creal, with a great-granddaughter expected in August; siblings, Aubrey Browles, Frank Bowles, Larry Bowles, Garry Bowles, Nell Fielding, Linda Burnett, Johnny Bowles, Joel Bowles, Sammy Bowles, Susan Weiler, and Darryll Bowles; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 4, 2022 from 10-11 AM at Serenity Funeral Home, followed by graveside service at 11 AM in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
