Clifford Paul Delcambre, Jr., beloved husband, father, and friend, was born on March 7, 1943 in Mobile, AL and passed away on May 12, 2022 at DeTar Navarro Hospital in Victoria, TX. He was a lifelong resident of Irvington, AL and was outgoing and friendly. He never met a stranger and always had a good story to tell. Cliff was a graduate of Alba High School and a 2022 graduate of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. He just completed his degree in Culinary Arts with honors. Chef Cliff, over the course of his life, took advantage of the opportunity to learn new skills with changing interests from franchise owner and commercial truck driver, to fishing and shrimping. Cliff's last passion was learning the culinary arts. He always had a passion for different cuisine. At 79 he completed that dream too. He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Delcambre, Sr.; and mother, Lucille William Delcambre. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Carla Susie Delcambre; children, Stefanie (Jose Davila) Nelson, Christina (Michael) Howell, Clifford Paul (Tracy) Delcambre III, and Desiree (Ray Royal) Delcambre; grandchildren, Duane (Jennifer) Nelson, Jessica Howell, Trent Howell, Connor Howell, Annabella Ledbetter, Jax Ledbetter, Clifton Royal, Ethan Delcambre, and Hannah Howell; great-grandchildren, Angelina Waits and Allison Waits; other relatives, and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 10-11 AM at St. Margaret Catholic Church, followed by service at 11 AM. Interment will be held in Oddfellows Cemetery We will always love and miss him.
