Carrie Clark Tindle

May 1, 1943 - May 14, 2022

Carrie “MawMaw” Clark Tindle, a Mobile native, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2022, at the age of 79 surrounded by family. She was a devoted wife of 40 years to Fate Marion Tindle, beloved mother to Debra Rearden, Melissa Tourne, Frank C. Tindle, and Pam Willard, as well as a loving a sister to Jack, Norman, and Campbell Clark, Agnes Davis, and Katie Lou Tillman. Carrie is survived by her children, Debra, Melissa, and Frank; grandchildren, Derrick Hicks, Kathy Hoffman, Christopher Tindle, Rachel Tourne, Lauren Tourne Amess, and Luke Tindle; great-grandchildren, Braden Hoffman, Kayden Hoffman, Kennedy Hoffman, Damian Hicks, and Khiana Hicks; brother, Jack Clark. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Fate Marion; daughter, Pam Willard; parents, Effie and Clarence Clark; brother, Norman and Campbell Clark; sister, Agnes Davis and Katie Lou Tillman. Her greatest achievement was being a mother, but her greatest blessing was being a grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed by her many best friends. Carrie was a valued employee of Wal-Mart for 20 years. In her youth she sang in a band and carried that enthusiasm for singing throughout her life. She loved to sing karaoke at home with her grandchildren. She also loved to cook and bake. She will be remembered as a loving Christian woman who cared deeply for her family. There will be a graveside service for Carrie at Cedar Grove Cemetery on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at 1:00 pm.
