
Glenda Bullard
President & CEO
When Don Parmer founded Serenity Memorial Gardens and Lawn Haven
Memorial Park, he asked his sister Glenda to join him. Glenda
worked in the office while Don worked in sales. It was Don's
wish that Glenda assume the position of President & CEO
upon his death in 1991. In addition to her duties, Glenda has
also been Secretery/Treasurer of the Association of Alabama
Cemeteries since 1991. Glenda was also named Cemeterian of the
Year in 1994 and the Vietnam Veterans Alabama Council named
Glenda Citizen of the Year in 1995. Glenda was also named Tillmans's
Corner Citizen of the Year 2006.

Phillip (Phil) W. Blocker
Vice President & Director of Sales & Marketing
Phil joined the Serenity Group's sales department in February
1975 where he was active in pre-need cemetery sales. In 1976,
he was placed on the management team and was still active in sales
and in the training of new sales people. Four years later, Phil
was promoted to Branch Sales Manager in charge of hiring, training,
and motivating his sales crew. In 1985, he was promoted to Sales
Manager by the founder and President, Donald G. Parmer, where
he remained for six years.
Upon Mr. Parmer's death in 1991, Phil was appointed Vice President and Director of Sales and Marketing for the Serenity Group.
Phil is a past president of the Alabama Association of Cemeteries.

James M. "Jim" Baldwin
Funeral Home Manager
Born and raised in Mobile, AL, Jim attended local schools and
graduated from S.D. Bishop State Community College Mortuary Science
Program in 1981. Jim joined Serenity Funeral Home in 1988 and
was appointed manager in 1989 by the founder, Donald G. Parmer.
Jim is a member of the Alabama Funeral Directors Association,
the Mobile-Baldwin County Funeral Directors Association, as well
as, other numerous civic, social, and religious organizations.
He has been married twenty-five years and has three children.
