Why Should I Consider A Private Veteran's Cemetery?
In the late sixties, space became limited in the local National Cemetery.
Today, it is full. Realizing the lack of burial space for veterans and the
distance that we had to travel to reach one, a decision was made to establish a veteran's
area at Serenity Memorial Gardens. Unlike the National Cemetery, the private
gardens receive no government funding and do not replace any benefit a veteran
may be entitled to. The main reasons veterans choose this area is because it is
local, their spouse can be buried here, and family members may acquire space
adjacent or nearby. Also, reservations are accepted, assuring the veteran of
space when needed.
